Hide Your Visit

Before you go through this site please read this internet safety section.

History / Cache Files

Are you worried that someone could find out you have visited our site?  We hope that is not the case, but we understand that some viewers may have concerns.  If someone has access to the computer that you use to connect to the Internet, or has access to your e-mail account, he or she may be able to find where you have recently been on the Internet, or read your incoming and outgoing e-mail.

The following measures can be taken to delete temporary cache files that are stored automatically on our computer and your computer's history file, that allows someone to see what sites you have visited that week or day.  Each browser works slightly different.  On the drop down menue, find the browser you are currently using to learn how you can clear the history or empty your cache file after visiting our site.

Note:  It is important to know that it may not be entirely possible to rid your computer of all history files because many browsers have other embedded features that display recently visited sites.  Ultimately, the safest way to view and send e-mail, or access the Internet would be to do so at a local library, an Internet café a friend or family member's house.

   E-mail

If an abuser has access to your e-mail account, they may be able to read your incoming and outgoing mail.  Use a unique password that the abuser will not be able to guess to "password-protect" the e-mail account.  Your e-mail help function will explain how to do this.
